Born in Quebec, French-Canadian cutie Cynthia Wu-Maheux knew at the age of 10 that she was destined to become an actress on the big and small screens. Her parents supported the ambitious ingénue as she eagerly attended acting workshops and drama school. After receiving a degree in Literature and Theatre Arts from the Cégep de Trois-Rivières, the brainy beauty landed parts in a string of short films (Kagamiko, 101-102 and Shower/Douche). She also become a boob tube babe in her homeland with appearances on several series (C.A, Les Hauts et les bas de Sophie Paquin, Tactik, Trauma, Plan B, and District 31). Yet the hardworking hottie is best known for her performance in the 2016 movie On My Mother’s Side (also called L’Origine des espèces), for which she received a Prix Iris nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Of course, the slender starlet came closer to Mr. Skin’s Anatomy Award nomination for her titillating turn in The Theatre Bizarre (2012). The horror flick marks Cynthia’s nude movie debut since she plays a damsel in distress (and out of dress).
